I got a ginko last year, but I have it planted out in the yard to fatten up a bit. It looks good so far, though nothing is breaking bud yet outside.

How are you getting on with your trees?
Any sign of growth yet, i don't get that ice storms, it's either snow or frost.
I know nothing about your weather, is this just a normal yr. for you?
In April we are usually pretty safe, thats when i start shifting things about.
I have to say i have nothing delicate outside and all in big grow pots, this will have to change this year, so i will have to have a re-think for next winter. Cheers.

Prowler--I've been down here in South Texas for the past week, but when I left Kansas everything was still pretty much dormant. Everything outside that is. April 15--tax day here in the good ol' USA--is the average last freeze date there in Kansas, and things should start popping around then.

People, and especially my wife, were complaining about how cold it was and how much snow we got this winter, but I think it was actually pretty average for the long term. People have just been spoiled by the warm winters we've had for the past decade.

So what's coming down the pike that has you doing a re-think?
