Our Club's New Website

Hi,

Our local club has recently revamped a very tired website.

I think what they have come up with is brilliant. It is interactive for it's member's, allowing them to get involved in writing articles, etc.

Worth a look, if even just for the pictures.

Cheers,
Leigh.

Greetings,

The URL is www.fortwaynebonsai.org . Just got the new domain name! I'm still tweaking it, I've recently upgraded my computer and I've redone the website with web software. I used to write in html, but its getting more complicated and I don't have the time to study the newer code. So I cheated and am using a template-based software program. In all honesty, it looks better than my old code did, so I'm not worried.

Well that would actually be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) and, it does not always work out that way! Sometimes it turns out to be; WTHIT.

I'll second that one! This is the first time I've played with web design software, and there have been a few times when it gives me something that leaves me scratching my head. When I was writing in straight code, I could usually track the missing symbol/whatever, but it takes me a bit longer to figure out what I've done that's gone *wonky* with the software. But, it does make a lot of things a whole lot easier - the gallery its going to let me make of our club's trees is going to be cool. I just need more pictures now!

Centaura, very nice so far. I know the feeling about code, I am trying to build a site for my shop and it is going very slowly... Make a page, edit it, see how it looks, rince and repeat, rines and repeat, rinsce and repeat, Oh hell just let the clients find the typos!
