Speaking of.....
I'll have to get back to my Epiphytic Ficus that I did two years ago and possibly post some pictures.
It’s growing like a weed and I know for a fact that there is a huge amount of intertwined aerial roots around the base of the host tree under all of that sphagnum moss! I finally removed the foil but not the moss. So far it has been somewhat cold here (very unseasonal).

Thanks! I am going to let some of the growth extend and then wire it. I will let the wire cut in, then prune back and repeat the process. Defoliation will be much later.
