Um, O.K. would you mind telling me/us why you love it? I always wonder what it is in a tree that "speaks" to people. What is this tree telling you? What attracks you to it?
Are you wanting advice or just making a statement? I'm not fond of the pot with this tree. It just doesn't look right with a glazed ceramic like that, in my opinion. And the tree could use some thinning to expose more branch structure.

Welcome to the forum, B.K.

In case it needs saying: sometimes, when a person posts a picture here, he or she just wants to share the image; and sometimes, he or she is looking for feedback to help make the tree even better.

A majority of those who post here are actually doing both: sharing an image they like, and open to comments that could help refine the tree and bring out its potential even more. That's what most of us do, in fact, and that's what others will assume you are doing, too.

If you don't care for feedback, you should probably say so. Otherwise, you'll get comments like Mary's -- all intended only to help.

lol... bonsaikid was only upset for the mere fact that he was simply posting a picture for advertising purposes. When he was notified of this you'll notice he never made another post so I seriously doubt that he'll respond to any further comments/questions.

He won't be back but it shouldn't have posted it in the tree critique part of the forum.

True, but when someone throws in an advertisement they'll more often than not pay any attention whatsoever as to where they post it. As for the tree he posted it's just one of the trees he is/was selling and commenting how beautiful he thought it was. About as subtle as the proverbial bull in a china shop!
