MY NeW Pemphis Materials

hi. This is my new post here in bonsaiCHAT....i just want to share the picture of my newly acquired pemphis acidula material.its about 10month in the training pot...its from yamadori, it looks old and healthy and am thinking of a nice literati in the future...your comments will be greatly appreciated...thanks

Wow Bricks! Thats nice looking material! *Envious*.

Can you show us a photo of the Nebari and of the whole tree against a plain background so we can see the structure fully?

Hi chaps, can you explain please the meaning of the word Pemphis. as I have never come across this before.

hello boger,

pemphis acidula is a tropical plant specie..it is found mostly in shorelines...here in the philippines its so abundant so its the favorite materials of bonsai enthusiast here...try to visit this link to know more about this specie....Thanks

Thanks Bricks for the link , what an interesting article. As it lives on the shore line that would account for the spraying with sea water, seems to go against nature but there you are. Sorry cannot see any photo's.
