Surprised you did not get more response to this Peter!
As for any lack of response due to its "style" I can assure you that it would not be the cause of reason. The site and members here as a whole are not concerned as to what style a tree may or, may not be in members giving any "critique" or input as to styling. With that said, I find the tree going along quite well and find it quite pleasing. I'm personally not any proponent of any particular style. I've never had any dealing with this particular tree but, then again there are a multitude of trees I've not dealt with. I take it that the small protrusion on the lower right of the trunk where it bends is a jin? Also, just out of curiosity how old might this tree be? That's not a question I normally ask but as said, just curious. Bottom line, I think it looks great. Why not submit it on the Bonsai of the Month? Totally aside from the subject at hand here but something I have to say as it struck me funny as to your user name. PWH happens to be my initials and the exact same thing I use for my user name on another forum site albeit it is not bonsai related! ~Phil

style
Peter
First of let me say I like this tree. However there are a few disserning bits!!. It start's of with a very straight albeit leaning trunk. Then it curvs we then have a confusion of branches in the canopy. With branches that form a shangai. I know this is not finished and these are just my observations. As I said at the beginning I like the tree I would like it in my collection.

I looked at the tree yesterday, and thought it very nice, I've seen Eucalyptus many times and feel you captured the spirit of the tree really well, but there is something that dissolves the picture I try and build in my head when I look at the tree, it may be the kink part way up the trunk, could we have a photo of the tree a few degrees around, so the kink is not so visible? -Matt-

I quite like it! How does its form relate to a full-grown, ground-planted version?

Jim it relates quite well to the way that Eucalyptus grow in some areas and some form's of the tree. As there are well over 500 gum tree's as they are called in Australia. There are many different shapes.
Cheers

To me, this is the epitomy of a bonsai.
