One thing that stands out is that a couple of the trunks seem dead straight. They also are a bit tall for my taste but thats just me. I think there should be less branches but more refinement to them. Hoe that can help in some way?

Thanks Tom, none of the trunks are straight, although it appears that way in the pictures. I have been looking at this clump for a long time and have still to make up my own mind. Thanks for the input.

Hi Pup ....the only tweaking I can offer at this stage would be to bring the second from right trunk into view more. It seems to be hiding behind the right hand trunk and not offering the depth you may have been looking for.
A good composition of trees in the clump style struggling to gather as much light as possible. Ash ![]() |

hey pup nice tree. the thread's a little old but here you go. i do like the bunjin clump but i think you need to vary the angles of the trunks abit more, the taller ones should go upwards more ( they found the light) and the lower ones should spread out a bit more (still looking if you will), these would make a nice windswept group too. made a quick rough virt....

clump
G,day Ficusfanatic. I have been looking at a change of planting angle. It will give it a more upright position. I will probably do it this October.
