Yes, the first tree is Fukien tea, It's took in pot about 01 year ago. Sometime, I go to buy material trees at Buoi tree market and the tree took the shape about short time. Because of tropical tree, it grows strongly and very suitable for shaping Bonsai.
Height of tree is about 18 cm. I like small bonsai.
Thank you for your consideration.

The tree root on rock, in my country called is Duoi. Duoi's scientific name is Streblus asper . A good tree for Bonsai.
I see in this forum, there is scarity in material tree especialy Ficus branch that very familiar with bonsai in Vietnam, isn't there?

Hi natureini
That is a nice tree two, the Streblus asper (duoi) from what I can find is closely related to what we call here Mulberry. I have no experience with this tree. Are the leves hard to reduce on the Duoi?
Ficus is very popular here in the South part of our country, I myself live in Florida and have six or more Ficus, but they are not so popular in the Northern part of the country due to the cold weather.
Good growing
Paul

Hi Natureini,

Nice work. I plan to visit Vietnam someday in the future. I have been in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand.

Your country is very similar to mine in weather and trees. We grow a lot of Bonsai from several species of Ficus and other tropical species indigenous to Puerto Rico. I have been lazy in posting pics. But I have a lot of trees to care.

In fact, today I decided to send a post for the Bonsai of the month.
