Oh Russ, don't take it personal. This site doesn't seem as very well traveled of late and most don't have indoor bonsai. I don't, so I have nothing to comment on other than I like the one with two trees but the rocks don't match nor look natural.
Is that what you wanted?. Mary B. |

hi mary ..
i only put the trees in that dish/pot while they grew a nice root ball on each . the dish is a cooking pot and is raised in the middle but you cant see that on the pics so the too trees have there own root ball so i wouldnt have to cut the roots when i repotted them if you can see what i mean . the trees are now in there own pots and doing realy well . as for posts dont get me wrong i wasnt moaning about it i just thought it strange that they had no posts in a year thats all... cheers Russ |

When you repot the one with the two trees I would move the smaller tree closer to the larger tree, leaving empty space on the left rather than keep the two stones. I think it would be a better design and make the trees look larger. Remember bonsai is all about the illusion.

Nice start--what do they look like now? Any new photos?
