Zelkova

Hey all, I've got this Zelkova growing in a 'Grow box', and I was just wondering if you all think I'm going the right way with the trunk's, or if you have an alternative direction you would take it.

The dead wood, and stumps of the trunks need carving and hollowing out a bit, but I'm just waiting until I have a spare hour or two to do it.

Cheers

Looks like a very good start, do you have a virtual of it in 5 years?

Hey Matt if it were mine i would cut off the tall leaders thats growing from each trunk shortening the tree down to the thick trunks and then i would let the bushy tops of each trunk bush out and try to grow them into 1 large canopy so it would end up with the 2 trunks in a "V" with 1 canopy if you know what i mean!! just my two cents so to speak cheers Phil

Hey Phil, that could work, I'll do a bit of a virtual for both options and we can vote

Cheers
