Howzit Leigh,
I really like your juniper. Nice Jin and great movement. In time this will be an awesome tree.

Hey Leigh, long time no see, how are things going for ya?

Great tree, mucho jealous, even though Juni's and me dont really get on, I still love their ability to look very aged.

Cheers for showing us.

Hi,

Very nice tree, great potential, but right now with
a bit of troubles ahead, if not properly cared for;

The whole cascading area (lower right) seems
(to me at least) to be noticeably weaker than
the top part of the tree; this could finalise in
losing the branch.

So just to be on the safe side:
High time to pluck & thin out the stronger top part
to even things out, and furthermore to support the
weaker area with local foliage fertiliser and/or HB-101.

Those are fun little trees, aren't they? Our club had a workshop a couple years ago where we made these from whips. I was unable to attend, and I've been jealous of those who did go.... I've been thinking of trying one on some small shimpaku stock, and now you've convinced me!
