Ficus over rock
Here's a two year old cutting. Took the cutting two years ago, rooted it, then put it over a rock for a year and a half. Just repotted it recently, exposing the rock and doing some preliminary shaping and trimming. It wasn't as attached to the rock as I had hoped, and I was a little disappointed by how straight the roots are looking now. Oh well, its still cute and it has more developing to do. The rock fills most of the pot its in now (one of the reasons for the deepness of the pot), so I have more exposing that I can do later on - after giving it a few more years to get more attached.
