I have been working these from struck cutting's. Hokeido elm's for about 1 year now. Sorry by the time I remember pics the job is done.any way here is one which I will need a special pot for. I think the group looks OK on the slab. By the way the group is aprox two years
It is 20mms high slab is16.5 mms long( 8 inches x 6-1/2inches.

the small tree is 3.5 mms high the base of the trunk is .5mms
( 1--5/8th's high trunk 1/4 inch. The pot for this one will have to be very special.
I will have a look in Canberra this weekend when we got to the opening of the Australian Bonsai and Penjing collection.Pup

20 mm would indeed make them a tiny wee mame, but 20 cm is already quite convincing...

I am always getting my Ms mixed up with my Cs you are right it is 20 cms I was brought up with feet and inches we switched. After I had given up my trade to pursue another career. I do appologise for my bad. The group is now on another slab that has a slight indentation so it retain's more moisture in our hot summe'rs. Thank you for your comment's Alain Pup

Very nice little trees there, Pup.

If I ever make it to West Oz, I'd certainly like to drop in on you. Best of luck there.

You would be more than welcome . As would anybody who pursues this Art Hobby. I might even shout you a beer or two. Pup
