Mini-bonsai
A member of a French forum has started a mini-bonsai craze : he started using small pots he bought, and now friends are making some for him. He also makes "Fimo" pots.
I couldn't resist sharing a few pictures of his experiments with you. 1 : elm, April 07, Fimo pot 2 : horse-chestnut, May 07, Fimo pot 3 : horse-chestnut, Feb. 08, clay pot made by a friend 4 & 5 : a willow (he's got a whole family made from cuttings) and a larch with its accent plant, March 08, Fimo pots. He's also become a specialist in watering paraphenelia (spray system, etc.) Funny isn't it ?... |

I love that 3rd picture, very nice. I find trees this small look best in full foliage, at least until some form of ramification can be achieved. Your friend has done some very good work.

Very nice indeed Ross. That pot is not much larger than the fertilizer cakes I use!
