Polymer clay for pots.
Hey everyone.. Just thought I would post my newest pots. I posted some awile back in a thread by Ravenna. These are very small the cascade pot is 2 inches tall and the other pot is about 2 inches long. I made them both for under $10 materials. Any size can be made I just don't grow many trees over 4 inches tall so I make what I can use.

I like the dark green/black one. The purple and white one, while I like the shape, the colours do not really grab me. Post pictures when you plant in them.

I myself am more partial to the green and black one. The trees that will go in these are a good year away from being ready for a bonsai pot. Both are in large net pots. The white and purple one is for a snow rose the green and black is for a Burt Davy ficus.
Anyway I just wanted to show what you can do with polymer clay and your regular old 275 degree oven.

Hi,
I also prefer the green pot... I have the feeling that you are getting better so keep it up. By the way... I have just got home from my latest pottery class... trying out a "shocking" design for my newest bonsai pot but it is fun. If I manage to finish it in time I may have it end of June... Well, I wish you fun with your pots. ![]() |
