Nice little pot Ravenna, I like the colour, it works well with the texture.

As for Polymer clay, all I've ever made from is it attached below, oh and I've also made a rose (dont like buying cut flowers(waste of fuel transporting them).

I like the blue edge along the botton, it add a nice touch. I just wish the curve looks more diliberate. The feet appear to arch to match the upper edge, but this could be the lighting. If it is arched the drain holes are, I hope, at the lower edges.

Great self-portrait Matt.

Hi Matt, well that is a very Japanese and sleek-minimalistic sculpture you made there... esp. the colours are so discreet... you should use it as an accent Poor Matt, being taunted, sorry, I will be nice now. I think it is good that you work with clay and you should keep at it - then you don't have to ask nasty women to make a pot for you...

@Jim: yes, the bottom is arched. I assume it is the way they dry the pots in that pottery. They actually make pots professionally there and as the bottom was flat initially but shrunk in this odd way. I find it is a pity though they didn't seem to bothered about it - actually offered me to leave my pot there and exchange it against one of the pots they sell. But I still like the colours so I kept it. I guess it is better than a sagging floor but it is a pity. The holes are on the lower sides so I hope that any tree in there will be fine.

The blue colour is not just on the rim btw but also on the surface at teh spots where there are depressions but it is a bit difficult to see on the pic.
