Pot Chop

I bought a tree recently that I had coveted for a long time.
It is in a Chinese Dragon pot. I am told an original!!
Not beeing a potter I am like most, I see a pot it works with the tree and thats it I buy it. I would like to know if what I am told is right. Thank you in advance. Pup

If you turn the image over (top to bottom), it's exactly the same as the Matsushita Masuo signature.

I am not sure if I have up the right way. I just tilted the pot and took a shot. When I repot the tree I will take some more pictures. I will take four shots. I had a look on the site Rick gave me and some looked the same. I would not swear to it though. I am wondering the twosignatures that look like it and what you suggest are Japanese. I thought Dragon pots were Chinese. Thanks for your help.Pup

After I read your reply Glider. I printed out my picture, and looked up the site that Rick gave me. I do have to agree becuase if I had tilted the pot the other wat to take the shot I would have it that way up. Thank you Both very much. Now the 64,000 $ question, is it worth any thing. Saying that, it is usualy what you can get.
