Thanks for the compliments. Ya i want to add the circle to the center of the opening. I was having a hard time finding something I could use but I think I found something. Its a type of garden edging thats made of wood fibres and very flexable, stainable, and has a wood grain pattern. My only issue with it is if it would start to sag and turn into an oval instead of a circle :P
Hey Rick long time no see :P |

Bryan,
Thanks for sharing your work on the bonsai area. Looks great! What kind of sun do you get in that spot throughout the summer? Chris

Thanks for asking bonsaikc. I get direct sun from around 9am to 4pm then it fades behind the large old trees in my neighborhood. It directly faces the suns path across the sky.
The wife approved 3 more monkey poles worth of cedar if I set up her gardens to have the same lighting system as my bonsai area. Current count of Noma eco-bright back yard lights...24 :P The poles are together and Thompson's water sealed them yesterday. Its nice to have a separate place to display my trees. I got one more monkey pole to build for a total of 6. Thanks for the compliments everyone. I normally take update pics mid summer because all my sunflowers are bloomed and the area is full with green vegetation. What on earth is it with the weather here. June 3rd and its going down to +5 this weekend. Its summer right? :P |

Hi Bryan,
Look forward to your mid-summer pics. I hear you about the weather, not much different here in Michigan. It's very disappointing when you have to wait all year for it! (Especially after this past winter) Well, it could always be worse, we could be having floods or droughts like they are having out West and in SE U.S. We have to count our blessings.
