century plant // Agave plant

well imagin that. i'm trying yet another plant. this time a century plant, or more properly put a Agave plant. got her cheap. $8.99, and she came with 5 free babies. there was another one that had some sort of a succulent in with it, but it had 2 missing branches.

how the heck do i bonsai this?

i just noticed. if you look ok the leaf you can still see the marks from where the previous leaf was wrapped around it. very cool. i first thought it was water spot/marks. you can actually feel them with your finger. too cool

i have a local nursery that has a century plant that is over 20' tall, and needs to have a hole put in the roof to accommodate new growth. it's like 10' in diameter. i'll go take some pics of her, and post them here.

oh ok. i gotta get a pic of it to post. i'd be willing to bet that if you were to put it in your back pocket, and walk away unassisted you could have it for free.
