Hi, guys,
We did these at college, so we had to do it properly, Trycyrtis don't have corms, or bulbs, they die back down into fleshy roots, which you separate by snapping them into little clusters about the diameter of the base of an aerosol can. Pot them up and you're away. These were taken in Feb if I can remember, and started flowering in late July. -Matt-

hmmmm. so i need to pull them from the ground in feb? they will be frozen in the ground then. they are in a pot heeled in for the winter currently. they are in a 5" pot, so i'll only get roughly 2 plants worth out of it then? the pot is full from corner to corner.

Ours open in the spring, just around May with a burst of color to cheer you up after a long winter.
Look forward to getting some new stock, and dividing the old ones. Best regards BD Paul

Superb plant
Oh well, i don't think there is anything you can do, except that is to chalk this one down to experience, and try not to make the same mistake.
There must be a way of ordering this specimen through your local garden center. Best regards BD Paul
