Centaura,

Sorry to hear about your computer. As Durante used to say, "what a revoltin' development!"

As for your lacebark, remember that it's native to China, and your specimen was probably grown somewhere else in the Yew Ess. So it's a bit out of its element in more ways than one, and needs a year or two to adapt. Kansai was probably right.

Will we see you at the workshop with Bob Eskeitz on Saturday? (My daughter wants me to put a smilie here, namely this one: .)

i've heard that if the needles are wet too often, that they will start to turn at the tips.

Thanks all for the info. I had thought that it had been grown in Michigan, which is farther north than I am. But I hadn't thought about the fact that it might not have been grown up there. And it was buried in snow this last winter.

Ah well, hopefully I'll have a new computer by the end of the week. The digital camera never talked with the old computer, I had to take pics off with my work computer. But the cable was one of the things stolen so I need to get that replaced before I'll be getting anything off the camera to any computer.

I hope this stuff wasn't stolen out of your home. It's one thing to have your auto pilfered or something like that. Quite another to have your home violated.

Best wishes--DR
