Serissa Foetida 'Variegata'

Hi All,

This is one of my latest trees, after loosing my other Serissa I've wanted to get another one for a while, this is the nicest Serissa I've seen for sale for a while, and at £15 I Wanted it. This is the latest in my long line of Tatton Park Flower Show purchases.

What do you guys think? I plan to put it onto a wider, and shallower pot, and straighten it up a bit, but other wise, keep her as is.

Yeah, different pot for sure. You got a great deal on it. How/why did your other one die? I've found my serrissas do best when I ignore them. I have one now that's giving me a only a few blooms. I never get the big, covered with blooms display on any of my serrissas. Maybe I don't fertalize enough.

Hiya Mary,

Through Post Death Research, I've determined that the last one died because of Red Spider Mite. But this one will be misted regularly, even if it has flowers, to prevent that.

Possibly, but I've never really had many flower's on mine, just one or two here and there, although, quite often they're covered in flower buds, but for some reason they stagger their opening so it's never more than 5 open at any one time.
