Cypress styling
I have a bald cypress that is approx. 36" tall and 9" circumference at the base. It was originally over 7 ft tall and chopped to this height. I am looking for advice on how it should be styled or if it should be chopped again? I am not familiar with cypress at all. Thanks. Tom

Bald cypress are often styled as (more-or-less) formal uprights. Have you seen the flat-top style variation? It was developed by Vaughn Banting and a few others to reflect the natural appearance of a mature bald cypress.
Here's a picture of a BC styled that way, from the Pacific Rim Collection. (The lovely model is my wife.)
