Recent Articles and Reviews
Well, after 7 hours of hunting and installing codes I finally manged to place in the "Recent Articles and Reviews" module on the Homepage. I imagine that its something small to the general membership here but it proved to be one hell of a challenge for me. The ARTICLE section is run by a program called "Dynamics" and is not at all like the one that was on BC.O called GARS which is no longer available. The Dynamics program has its pluses and minuses but the bottom line is that it is not capable of full integration with the vBulletin program so therein was the problem and difficulties.
Now the next challenge is the "Bonsai of the Month" module and a few others. They will come but for now I need a bit of a break! Why did not someone warn me that constructing a forum site was this insane!! ![]() ~Phil

Well I suppose I really left myself open to that one now didn't I!
That was about as subtle as a brick to the head! ~Phil

Well, Phil, since you are a "man of leisure" and don't have a regular job to do for a living...

Not true if you think about it, Creating and running a site like this is like doing volunteer work for a charity, you do long days of hard graft (be it typing) all for other people and little in return except for a nice warm feeling inside knowing you've helped people in need.

Seems as though I have a job now! However, it's nice to keep ones own hours and do something for once that gives some pleasure and satisfaction. Well, most of the time.
