Hi treebeard,
glad you like the tree. Still a lot of work to do on th deadwood. I think it will look much more interesting then (if I don't mess up the deadwood). As a broadleaf tree lover boxwoods offer me the chance to work on deadwood and still have tree with leaves... In our class the trees were all very impressive. So if you have the chance to work on box trees I would take it. Francois Jeker has also written a book on how to work dead wood and in there he also discusses the particular techniques to use on box. I think so far it has only been published in French as far as I know but I think next year the English version will be published too... @Jim... sorry to disappoint... :-) |
