Yes Treebeard the gell is much easier to use.. no accidental huffing of the powder.. lol Its available at many hydroponic stores and online just search rooting gel.

Well i know that there is a Hydroponics store just down the road from me, so i may call in soon and inquire if the stock it.
Definitely easier than powder, just dip the matchstick in, and push it into place, how easy do you want it!.

Your lucky to have one so close by bonsaidad. They have lots of great stuff you can use in bonsai. Most of them carry great aggregate choices like LECA, Lava rock, Diatomite, and Pumice. You can get AAA spag, Coconut husk ect..
Then the net pots, lighting systems.. lol I would love to have one close to me.

I use to work in a factory making concrete blocks, every now and again we used Pumice for lightweight blocks.
Two to three hundred tons of the stuff were delivered at a time, but this was well before i started Bonsai, (shame).
