I am a person who is not aware of the unnamed. I have heard names bandied about on other fora. As it is of little consequence to me I do not worry about it. I visit two sites this one, and our own home grown site.
As BT is down I cant visit. So here is a site worth a look and since BT is down we have more members!!

He is quite used to it as he has been banned from other sites as well due to his over self inflated ego, lies, plagiarism and other things of which I'll not mention here as it is most unpleasant, disgusting and better left alone. Even the mention of his name is banned from this site for what he did and what he is. I'll say no more.
Wow, such hatred, I certainly will never bring that up again. For the record, I enjoy his articles in all the bonsai magazines and on-line and no one can argue what he has done with a o b and kob, the content on both is amazing, no matter how he is percieved. I have nothing against him and I too enjoy the fights sometimes, he does go down swinging, lol.

Sorry for bringing it up, I was only curious.

Yes, aside from this site, another that I own (not bonsai associated) and belonging to two others (also not bonsai associated) there are always those few who just seem to thrive on confrontation and the ever so present self acclaimed experts. At times I don't know whether to laugh or ignore them. Usually the later is the best alternative albeit it is at times most difficult. Those who talk the loudest are usually those who who are the foolish and ignorant. It's quite easy to sit behind a keyboard and rant but these people if left to rant on are usually and eventually spotted for what they are and best ignored. Unfortunately this particular person thrives on the attention even if it is negative feedback from others. It takes all kinds but, that kind is not and never will be tolerated here. It's not good for business!

There is a place for everything. I am glad this is not the place.

I come here for bonsai. I go there for something else.

Just how long has Bonsaitalk been down now? I never paid much attention until the subject was brought up. I certainly hope Matt gets it all sorted out soon as it has always been a very busy site with a lot of members. I wish him the best of luck in getting matters sorted out as soon as possible.

I kinda float thru a bunch of sites, reading but not participating. I'm on BT, BN, KOB, IBC, and as I've said before, this one actually discusses BONSAI. Don't change a thing....

From the first post on here on the 9th..I think it had been down 4 or 5 days then. So it is getting close to 3 weeks ? I had just started going there and found some good info on help for blackspot on elms. I have been trying to get back in to get the names of some products. I work with servers and internet providers on a daily basis. If it was a server crash it could have been rebuilt in a week at most. If it is the bandwidth as the error says, that would be the ISP provider...if they cannot get it corrected in this length of time, the owner should be looking for a new service provider. I do not know Matt, but if this is just his side hobby to run the site, then that could be the hold up, he maybe working to pay the bills. Also as Phil said it could be something up with Matt, which I hope is not the case.

Keep Lookin Up!

I found out who ___ ___ was and checked out the other sight he is on. Hope no one gets mad at me for saying so but he seems alright to me. What in the world happened with him?

That would take too long to discuss here and too painful for many of us who endured that enslaught. Might we just let this discussion end and leave him to those sites that are willing to allow his membership.
