Hmm...interesting! Possibly a bandwidth problem? If some changes were in the making Matt, the Administrator there, would have simply posted a message on the page as I have done in the past when an upgrade was in the process of being made.

I seen no glaoting at Bnut just the usual conversations that seemed pretty nice and they did welcome all from Bonsai talk there. There are a lot of people banned from Bonsai Talk, mainly anyone who went against the standard party line "experts" but how does that affect us here?
There was a incindent where someone made some racial remarks about middle eastern people and then the forum went down, but the story from the mods is a bandwidth issue that should be resolved soon. I use all the forums ibc, bnut, bsite, bchat, a of b, kob, ibf, fachforum, and I like them all, I'd hate to see any one go away so I hope Bonsai Talk comes back soon, it was entertaining. EDIT: Hey, why am I not allowed to use a o and b in conjunction is there a ban on the art of bonsai project here www.**************** ??? or is the initials a slur in another language or soimething? All I get is *** when I type the letters a o b together??? EDIT EDIT: Lol, it blocked out the url as well???? Last edited by McBonsai; 04-13-2009 at 01:20 PM.. |

Yes, a long story but A*B and its link are banned (as is a certain someones name) on this site. It was banned on the previous site before I took up the reigns here and so it shall remain.

[quote=McBonsai;6586]I seen no gloating at Bnut ...[quote]
Not all of them, and not all the threads. But a thread was posted, asking essentially the same thing that I asked on this one, and some of the responses were unkind, to put it mildly. I haven't visited all the fora you mentioned; might drop in here and there. But I think I'll limit active involvement to two. My reason is probably obvious: the more time I spend on bonsai fora, the less time I spend on my trees themselves! (Generally speaking, anyway.)

Just found out: the problem at BT is connected to a bandwidth issue. Matt (Chroust) is working on it, and apparently expects to be able to resolve it, tho it may take several more days.

As for BT I hope Matt gets things all sorted out, as I'm sure he will, as it is indeed a great site and I wish them all the best and always will. ~Phil

I think this (he) is one of the reasons bnut is so entertaining.
![]() Some people just enjoy confrontation. i'm not one, but being human I do enjoy observing it for some reason. It's a strange thing. can't explain it. |
