If the culprit is charged officially, then it should be left to the Australian public to set a sentence, but unfortunately this will never happen.

But if he goes down, then maybe the other inmates can get to him, and give him a taste of his own medicine.
I am by no means a violent man, but sometimes where can you draw the line.

I truly sympathize with all those who are suffering.

"The suspect also was charged with possessing child pornography." Now if Australia had an electric chair, I might offer to come and throw the switch, of course my hand might shake a bit so it could be a very nasty death... sometimes the gene pool needs a little chlorine.

Hello Our Friends Down Under,

We've not had any recent reports on the situation down there over here, can you fill us in? Last I heard was that the Death toll has passed 200, I'm assuming the Brave men and women Firefighters have finally taken control of the fires? And Pup, have you gotten in contact with your friends yet?

Thank you for thinking of us Matt. The official toll at the moments stands at 209 dead 2000+ plus homes lost. 350,000 hectares burnt out.3 fires still burning uncontrolled fortunately no homes in danger at last report. No we still have not been able to get in touch. Will try this week with the last contact area. Tomorrow is a day of National mourning and your princess Anne is attending on behalf of the Queen ( I am a republican ) sorry.
With all that has gone with the fires it seems the people of Norther Queensland that have been flooded for two weeks and more have been suffering in silence. An area the size of South Australia is under water. So we have had it Bad this year. There is only one way now and that is up. Again thank you for your thoughts. Pup and all Ozzys. ps that should read 350,000 square hectares

Once the event has happened, and the news value has gone, then its not reported anymore outside of Australia, there is no follow up!.
As soon as a distinguished Representative of the royal family, or government shows their support, then its back in the news for a day or so.
These stories should be followed through until coming close to the end of the disaster, or at least until the clear up starts.

Best regards BD Paul
