Uh-Oh! Thanks for the heads-up! I'm running to my basement now!

-Centaura

Of course, I was already on the way to the basement to do some watering, but it made a great exit line.

Wink Take cover

Well, if you only knew what happened to me, you would have been sending money over to me to help me out.
I was in the middle of typing a reply to the site, the next minute there was a huge orange flash followed by a clap of thunder that shook the house, then the house went black.
It took about 2hrs before the lecky came back on, my new 22inch LCD monitor was cooked, my wireless router was as dead as a do-do.
It has taken me all this time to connect to a new ISP.
Aint going into this, suffice to say i am back.
I missed you guy's and i promise to be a nice person in future, i did get a bit of a scare.

hmm... may be your post sparkled with too much wit or you were about to spark off a heated discussion with it? I have heard that that can lead to short cuts... Guess you will have to be more guarded in the future... Good to hear that nothing more serious happened though.

LMAO, Exploding haggis grenades! ,

What he hasn't noticed yet, is that was just the distraction technique employed by a southerner living in the north of England, and an Italian living in London to get into his house and steal an Australian living in Scotland! (AKA Operation steal Giant Ficus)

Cool

Well, i think it was my haggis skin slippers that saved me.
There was only one flash then this horrendous bang and that was it.
I thought it was one of those low flying jets that we get and it had plowed into the woods beside me.
Nature is a strange thing, but i have never seen orange lightning before.

Anyway, i purchased a anti-surge box, so that should sort that out. Cheers.
