Poor Prowler!

As some may know that Prowler and I are good friends. We talk quite frequently via Google talk and he has helped me quite a lot while I was constructing this site in doing some tests. NO....Prowler is fine and doing well.

I had not seen him on line for several days or heard from him so I was naturally getting a bit concerned. I received an email from Lua who is also a good friend of his and they at times talk on the telephone. She passed along a message from him to me as to what happened. It seems as though a bolt of lightening hit his garden and blew his monitor, modem and computer to smithereens! His computer is new and he just bought a new 22" monitor last week! As said.....poor Prowler but I suppose it could have been worse. At least no one was hurt.

Hmmm, what could Grumpy have been doing to invoke the wrath of Zeus?

Glad to hear he is O.K.

Maybe his cursing went a tad too far while sipping a wee bit too much of the Scottish amber to wash down some of the haggis! I know Prowler all too well and I know he thinks the world of his computer and that brand new monitor. Those whom the God's wish to destroy.....they first drive insane! I know that would do a real job on me at this time!

It's not the Wrath of Zeus, its the Wrath of Mrs Prowler with the Ficus in the Bath incident ,

The Haggis trap in the garden must of acted like a Lightning rod, I told him to use plastic!

At least no one was hurt.

Any news on when he's going to get a new computer?

Although with the current weather patterns around here, it wouldnt suprise me if he had to get it shipped in by canoe to his front door

From what I can gather is that he has to get some kind of code in order to switch his ISP. Seems as though one has to go through ten kinds of hell to do so over there. I'm sure he is climbing the walls from not being on the Internet for so long! From what Lua told me is that he hopes to have it all sorted out by this weekend.

Thumbs up ouch

I was beginning to wonder whether he had gone the way of William Wallace.
I sincerely hope that no trees were damaged.
I am sure he will be back with us regaling us with tales of how the Haggis Monster got into his little moose that was loose aboot the hoose.
Sorry mate could not resist. Pup

Hi,

In eager anticipation we're awaiting his quickening . . .

as well as his juicy comments on how he went about
accomplishing that

C'mon Victor, live up to thy name and rise,
as this place is only half the fun without You !

He's not going to sleep for days in catching up on all his lost internet time. I too was curious about what was keeping him.

Actually he has been in hiding, recovering from plastic surgery, face lift, tummy tuck, ear pinning, and will re-appear once all is healed and he can make a grand entrance. When he returns, maybe we could all act as if nothing happened... as if he had been here all along. This might make him feel more comfortable, and what ever you do, please do not stare at his scars.
