shadyside bonsai

well, on exactly 4/15/08, money went from my bank account to shadyside bonsai, and today 7/12/08, i still have not received any products or my money back. i have messaged tom a few times and at first he would tell me that he would work on it for me, but for the past month or so, he hasn't replied to my messages at all.
i thought people should know about this, and i think that i have given him plenty of time to correct this. some of you may know tom personally. i don't, and i really can't judge his character any more than what i gathered from this, so maybe this is out of character for him.

I am letting Tom know of your problem. He would never try to cheat his customers. He has been going through a lot this past year or so. Give him some time to respond.

As I informed you I contacted pay pal, as I saw no transaction information concerning your purchase. Pay Pal informed me they have no transaction record. If you have a transaction ID please PM it to me. My hands are tied till then.

so i called pay pal, and apparently they refunded me that money. for some reason neither of us were contacted. i checked my bank record from may and they had credited the funds back to my account, although it didn't show up as pay pal or shady side bonsai.
i do have the transaction id and i will PM it to you.
well, i don't quite know what to think of this now. i'm sorry for all the confusion, and i guess i should have contacted paypal in the first place.
If i were you, i would call paypal and ask them why they decided to credit that money back to me a couple weeks later. they couldn't give me an answer.
again, sorry for all the confusion.

Seems as though everything has been resolved due to a misunderstanding with PayPal/Billing. I've deleted a few of the posts as they were simply short posts as in a phone conversation between two people and I didn't wish anyone on this site to get any misconceptions of negative feedback as to Tom/Shady Side Bonsai.

I did not wish to get too involved until the facts were known. I've known Tom for some time and this just did not seem to mesh up in the least as to his character and his reputation which, if I may say at this point, remains untarnished. Bottom line.....if anyone is to blame here it seems as though it was PayPal and some lack of communication between them and the buyer.
As they say......sh*t happens at times.
All is well.............

FOR THE RECORD!!

I have dealt with Shadyside and Tom in the past, please don't let the name mislead you. Tom bent over backwards and then some in providing nothing but the utmost customer service to me. This Canuck is one happy customer and will do business with Tom again.

You guys don't know how lucky you are living in the States, try it from this side of the border!!!!

... oh and PS: I have had major problems with Paypal in the past... we won't go into it but definitely an organization who can tarnish a reputation overnight. I no longer deal with or through them!
