It's ME! This is a trident maple I bought myself for Christmas and happened to be out in the yard with a camera one warm, sunny winter day. I submitted the picture because I wanted something different than the usual bonsai with black background. The fish were cooperating so I snapped a quick shot. I need to work on the branch structure a bit next winter but right now it's a green bush that really likes being by the pond.

Yep, I'd like to see it leafed out.

O.K. you asked for it.......Here she is in her summer glory. I haven't done anything about leaf reduction because this was air layered off a bigger tree not all that long ago so I figured I'd just let her grow, then worry about branch ramification and structure next year. Probably take a workshop with somebody because I'm not too sure how to do it with tridents.
