I thought I would post here. The tree is the bottom half of an air layer of 6 years. I thought the other half was a better tree.
I still have it this tree was an experiment. I cut the stock trunk down the middle with 5 cuts, after I had removed the top.
I bound them tightly hoping to get taper. It stopped the swelling and left me with a broom!!! style they did not fuse. I am glad you like it too.
It is 25cms( 93/4inches high x 22cms wide( 85/8inches wide. Pup

All comments are more than welcome as to Pup's tree and also as to the others.
That's what it's all about as to feedback, critique, suggestions and or, any other input you may wish to contribute or discuss. Great job again by all of those who entered and thank you for entering. Lets keep it up and don't be shy and by all means let us all give some thanks to Jim for taking the time and patience in handling all of this month after month. I don't now what I (we) would do without the terrific moderators we have on this site!

Congratulations Pup........again!

Thumbs up

I do feel that trees that were photgraphed. Unfortunatly did not show what was there namely the Trident group.
As has been pointed out if you post it like that Jim will post it that way so please try to make it easy for him.
I feel that the Syzygium needs a lot more foliage. The Ficus needs a shallower tray for a group. The buxus is very nice in 2-3 years will a winner. This is just my opinion for what it is worth.

Congratulations pup that is a very nice tree, you got my vote. I agree wrt the pictures. The group could have been a winner as well but we couldn't see. I know I need to improve my picture taking skills and I hope to contribute down the road but for now I'm out of submittable material.

pup has a good point on that ficus group, i think a shallow tray would make a world of difference. it's a nice planting as it is, but a shallow tray would make it seem more mature.
