I'm giving it very serious consideration. However, if I do decide to go through with it and there is even the slightest bit of friction and or complaints I'll scratch it faster than a three legged horse at the Kentucky Derby and there will never be another!

phil i hear you you loud and clear and yes it is your call. however if we are not prepared to mix with the good, bad and ugly at times nothing will be achieved by scrapping and never doing again. just my 2 bob.

Just some bad experiences from the past Antonio and I know them all too well. I have all the rules set with some changes yet to be made. There is always those one or two members who complain about ridiculous things such as the price limit of the tree, the time constraints given etc. Believe me, I know from past experiences with this contest and I will not abide with such complaints again. The rules will be simple, straight forth and the same for everyone no matter what the location. Any questions put forth as to the rules will of course be accepted graciously and answered with like consideration. Any complaints as to the rules will not be given the same consideration in any way shape or form. When there is a contest.....there are rules. They will be followed and if anyone feels that they are not fair that person of course has the option of not entering the contest but they do not have the option of complaining. The bottom line being is that it will be a contest and there will be rules as there are in any contest. If one does not like the rules or feels that that they cannot live up to them then that person should simply not enter. I certainly don't wish to come off as sounding crude or rough here but I've been through this before all too many times so my apologies. Plain and simple...contest = rules. Read the rules and if you wish to enter all the better. If you feel the rules are not fair or you feel that you cannot comply with the rules....do not enter. Pretty simple!

phil thanks for the response, i agree with all you have put forward so far. it is only right that if it doesn't suit someone then dont enter or perhaps even be disqualified but not have it discontinued and spoilt for everyone else.

Where are the pictures from the last styling contest? or maybe they were from the year before...I wanted to look at the before/after of the Wichita Blue...if I recall it was a bit of a windswept or maybe it was literati...might have been the winner...anyone remember?

And before someone says there has been only 2 contests...it would have been on the .org site...if you weren't around back then you wouldn't know about previous contests.

Marcus.
