Hi Noissee,
Although I don't know what is causing it (and I cant find it in the P&D book I've got), I can tell you that we have one in the garden near the front door, that has done exactly the same, although earlier in the year, it stayed green throughout the winter but over this last month it has changed completely brown all over, but isn't crispy, still has green cambium, and healthy looking buds. So I am interested in what is replied to this, to see what it is. -Matt-

Hi Noissee
I see this sort of thing at work sometimes, it is usually someone has used the wrong fert (has this plant been feed with a granulated fertilizer recently) or a form of Phytophora caused by being too wet. Shrimpy
