Sugar, your question, or I should say, "questions" (as in thousands) are just too general and unanswerable. That is akin to one saying that they are interested in music, and would like some tips on how to play several instruments. It, obviously, cannot be answered.

I'd suggest you first do some reading, and possibly search the forums. When you have some specific question(s), then by all means come back ask them.

I would suggest AusBonsai .com for your area and a good book by Dorothy and Vita Koreshoff. Called you too can grow Bonsai in Australia.

It would be much easier if there was something specific to help you with. Do you have a tree you want to work on?

As bonsaibp said, you would need to be much more specific, and we now seem to be back to your original post. There are many members here who would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have as that, in essence, is what a forum site is all about. However, to say that you simply need help will not gain any answer as no one knows just what specific help it is that you are in need of, i.e with… potting, pots, soil, fertilizer, pruning, watering, seeds, wiring, light requirements, tropical, and or deciduous trees, temperature requirements, root pruning, cuttings, defoliating, etc., etc.? It goes without saying that for anyone to simply supply you with even the most basic and simplistic answer that would include all of the above (and I left out a multitude of categories) would be impossible. When you have something more specific, then by all means feel more than free to ask.
