Thanks Paul, the first table is zebra wood and it's a tad bit ornate for most displays. It works very well with flowering trees that seem to better be able to compete. I just love my chojobai flowering quince (red) on it.

The root stand is much darker and seems to highlight nicely rather than compete with the bonsai itself.

The stand under the Barton pot was an effort to look like a cut round, without the bark eventually drying and falling off. The bark is actually 5 pieces carefully joined to fit around the stand.

To me, stands and tables are like pots, no matter how many you have you never have quite the right one, when you need it! LOL

One table i have that I like to use to help teach with is a letter writing stand
from where our display tables originated from.
