Hi everybody
I managed to get a sloe from a friend of mine who pulled it out of his garden a couple of years ago and place it into a pot. The tree managed to escape some roots into the ground and grew freely. He chopped it badly and a couple of months ago he had in intention to dump it, and that's how I got it.
I've search the net but very little information about sloe as bonsai therefore I don't know to much about the tree and its behavior to any treatment really.
When I'm also having a look at it I have to say that I can only see an informal upright coming out of it and lots of pretty ugly scars.
I have in intention to repot the tree in the coming weeks and I'm wondering if cutting hard on it would be inappropriate right know.
Does sloe buds back easily?
It would be appreciated if I can get some advice on styling it.
