OK, I have an update. I've been working on this tree now for two years with Ted Matson, and it's starting to really take shape. Almost there now, just needs to extend a little more in the lower branches on each side. Can't believe I used to hate this tree--it's now my favorite. It is being displayed with a stone I found in a nearby stream that looks (to me) like a meditating monk.
As always, I'd love to hear any ideas, and any questions are welcome.
