Same here in Bama....98F-105F. My trees are not doing good. I have moved most of them from the deck to the shade under the pines. And the FukieTeas are still drying out during the day. I put a small tray under them today to give them some water during the day. I don't think it will cause root rot as hot as it is and I will remove the tray in a couple of days. Have lost my Redwood that was just recovering from getting too dry..now it is all brown...a few new buds are coming out...hope it will make it. Also no rain for the past 3 or 4 weeks so my 2 water barrels are dry. I am using our well water which has a small amount of salt and I know this is not good for the trees but have no choice at this time. I water in the late afternoon after work and then again early morning for the ones still on the deck.
Keep LOOkin Up!
Michael
