It was 109F here last Sunday. We had 4 days over 100F but the delta breezes have started up to cool us down to the 90's. Could even make it down to the high 80's by the weekend (yay). Many of my plants suffered from the heat wave. I had to work through the whole thing so they were watered in the morning but couldn't again until 11:00 at night. I don't advise watering in the dark after a tough day at work. Some things are looking very crispy when they shouldn't have been, which means I didn't water as deeply or well as I should have. Looks like I may loose a few this summer.
