Noissee...I am not sure about the yaupon holly...but it could be. I have a 14" bonsai pot that is 3.5 deep, I think it will fit in there.

I still have it in the pot like it is going to come back to life...of all the pines I collected last year only one is still alive. I think the biggest problem was/is they are in an old "sand" pit / red dirt. When I dug them up most all the dirt came off the roots. I went back a few months ago and cut the top out of a couple and left them in the ground to see what happens.
