Europeans in general are more likely to be fluent in more than one language than are we Yanks, to our shame. But with the greater globalization of the world's economy, maybe we will be forced out of our comfortable little box. It will be to our good if we are.
I think the glaze on that leftmost pot might go well with a black pine, whether JBP, ponderosa, or some other. Have you thought of making bonsai-sized pots with those glazes?
