Sorry to hear about your computer. As Durante used to say, "what a revoltin' development!"

As for your lacebark, remember that it's native to China, and your specimen was probably grown somewhere else in the Yew Ess. So it's a bit out of its element in more ways than one, and needs a year or two to adapt. Kansai was probably right.
