Hi Matt,
The proposed pot, it's mine in property but not actual as an author. The pot was actually bought from a great artist here in Portugal that i admire quite much, due to his amazing works and quality offered. the name of the potter is Miguel Neto and he's portuguese as well. Until now, i haven't made any pots yet, just glazed them in one of my club activities.
In relation to the Jin,
The work was done in the ending of this last winter and as it was in the pot that you see from the first picture for two years already, after i did this job i've waited until the plant started giving some early signs of recovery and i transplanted it to that last pot. Later in May when the live tissues exposed in the Jin showed some signs of healthy recover i applied the Jin liquid with slight drops of black ink.
The first Jin that you actually see from the nebari position, it gave us some discussion as it is against the tree movement, but then again as of its angle of growing and as it was supposelly a first branch that died in the structure, meaning that is the oldest, the decaying process with easily get it, not allowing it to maintain with the same pattern movement as the others, though in our imagination, in the past it may have shown something like the others do. At least this is what i expect and perceive as well, by seeing this image.
thanks for the comment,
anttal63,
Thanks! Indeed. Time, along with good care is the main teacher of our trees.
Best compliments,
Gustavo
